able to fully outsource the operation of the Lawson Software applications.
Migration into the Velocity datacenter was streamlined and accomplished
multiple goals, including an upgrade to 9.0 and the implementation of a new
module. An important decision factor for the county was the ability for a
single provider to manage and support all aspects of Lawson. As a certified
partner for hosting and services, Velocity provided a holistic solution that
addressed all of their business issues.
Under a single Service Level Agreement (SLA), the county
depends on Velocity to manage the current environment, perform all upgrades and
maintenance, provide 24/7 service desk support as well as address all current
and future technologies of Lawson.
