Thomas Bruno - President & CEO

As the President and CEO and a member of the Velocity's Board of Directors, Tom Bruno provides day-to-day leadership to the company's senior management and is personally involved in the strategy, product development, financing and M&A activities.

Prior to launching Velocity in 2003, Tom was a principal and executive board member of Eisner LLP, where he directed consulting services for the large New York-based accounting firm. During his tenure with Eisner, Tom created numerous business units focused on simplifying the implementation and use of enterprise software. He was responsible for a number of private equity investment transactions which funded several Internet- and technology-oriented start-ups, including FashionMall.com, Titan Technologies, and Cardinal Commerce.

Prior to his years with Eisner, Tom ran a software development company which focused on developing applications for real estate and educational institutions.

Stephen Shippee - EVP & CFO

Steve Shippee provides overall management of Velocity's financial and administrative operations as well as all M&A activity. He has been with the company since 2005.

Prior to joining Velocity, Steve served as CFO and COO at Broadway Video Entertainment, a diversified media company owned by Lorne Michaels (Executive Producer of Saturday Night Live, for nearly 11-years), where he led the company's efforts in the acquisition and integration of various media assets and operating entities.

Following his completion of General Electrics Financial Management Program, Steve served as Manager of Operations Analysis and Business Modeling for GE's $4 billion per-year Consumer Electronics business unit. He has also served as a guest lecturer in finance at Cornell University. Steve earned a bachelors degree with distinction from Cornell University in business management and finance.

Michael Wedge - SVP of Operations

Michael Wedge is responsible for all aspects of customer service delivery including: facilities and infrastructure, processing environments, network, service deployment, customer service and professional services. Michael has been in executive leadership roles for over 20 years in both corporate and federal government sectors.

Prior to joining Velocity Michael was with Oracle Consulting, most recently serving as Regional Vice President. Michael's responsibilities included the National Supply Chain & Material Handling practice, operational management, P&L management, professional recruiting, services business development, and client account management.  In this capacity Michael led and successfully delivered a multi-million dollar systems integration program for the computing infrastructure and custom software design and development for the construction of the United Parcel Service (UPS) Worldport located in Kentucky.

Subsequent to his tenure at Oracle, Michael served as the President & COO for US Operations at Danka Office Imaging, and as CIO for Tomkins PLC, Industrial & Automotive Division. Michael received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Maryland.

Paul Cioni - SVP of Applications

Paul Cioni is responsible for customer relationship management and new customer acquisition. Paul has been in the Managed Application Services market for more than fifteen years.

Prior to joining Velocity, Paul was the Vice President of Application Services for NaviSite, Inc. and, before that, the Director of Sales and Service Offering Management for netASPx, Inc. Paul started his career in technology with Andersen Consulting as a technical architect in the enterprise group.

Paul served as an Engineer in the United States Army for five years, to include tours in Central America, Southwest Asia, and providing humanitarian relief during Hurricane Hugo. Paul earned a bachelor's degree from The United States Military Academy in computer science.

John DeLalio - VP of Technologies

John DeLalio leads Velocity's overall strategic technical direction--researching new products and services that can aid the company's clients. During his 10-year Velocity tenure, John has been instrumental in designing and launching Velocity's outsourcing business.

John previously served as acting CFO for Dreyfus Retirement Services, where he managed the financial operations of the company. He was also involved with designing and implementing many systems to improve operations, as well as overall year 2000 remediation efforts. John also worked for Eisner Consulting, where he was involved in a wide array of projects, including process redesign and implementation of business software by J.D. Edwards, Oracle, Macola, and Kronos.

John began his career as a mechanical engineer at Brookhaven National Laboratory, where he designed mechanical systems to support high energy physics research. He earned a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University and a MBA in Finance from the Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University.

Tim Moeggenberg - VP of HR

Timothy Moeggenberg provides executive management of Velocity's human resources and administrative operations. He has been with the company since 1995. Tim began his 15 year tenure with Eisner Consulting where he led the financial and administrative management.

Prior to joining Velocity, Tim served as Vice President of Product Development and Client Services at Prentice Hall Professional Software, Inc., a software development company owned by Simon and Schuster.

Tim received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from Central Michigan University, is a Certified Public Accountant, and received his Master of Science in Taxation from Long Island University.
